Frozen Sun Album 2 "Sea of Madness"

Growing up in the Albany area of upstate New York, all the members of Frozen Sun have had but one dream: to make music. When the band was formed in late 2011, we started small, playing covers and writing a handful of original songs; young kids playing Rock & Roll. By 2014, we had written and recorded our first, self-titled album, and had played several venues around the Albany, Troy, and Schenectedy area, even winning a Battle of the Bands at Upstate Concert Hall in 2012.

Now in 2016, Frozen Sun having truly found their heavy, grooving, energetic sound, drawing influence from bands such as Alter Bridge, Clutch, Black Sabbath, Sevendust, Iron Maiden and Judas Priest, the band is ready to start recording their second album, "Sea of Madness". The money raised from this page will go toward the cost of recording, mixing, and mastering the album at The Recording Company in Esperance, NY, as well as the transportation of ourselves and our gear to and from the studio.
