Frostburg State Wildlife Society Fundrasier

The Frostburg State University is raising money for their trip to the national conference for The Wildlife Society who is also partnering with the American Fisheries Society in Reno, Nevada. We are asking for any amount of donation, nothing is too small.

This money will mostly go towards travel. Being located in western Maryland our cost of travel to the national conference will be costly.  With your donation, you are giving to college students that need your help to succeed through external sources from the college and by this, they are making lifelong connections and accessing professionals in their prospective fields of further research in Wildlife Management, Fishery Techniques, Forestry,  and Parks and Recreation Management. 



To give a piece of background information on The wildlife society, We are a nationally recognized student organization that prides itself "to address national and international issues that affect the current and future status of wildlife in North America and throughout the world. The diligent development of authoritative statements on wildlife issues is essential for interjecting wildlife concerns into decision-making processes."  (From the Wildlife Society council).  Our group also helps students get out into nature to have a place to come along for hikes and experience the great outdoors. our group also takes several trips to animal sanctuaries and volunteers for several different animal and environmental research projects within western Maryland.  Our goal as a club and a chapter of The Wildlife Society is to experience the great outdoors and to promote excellence in wildlife stewardship through science and education.


So we ask kindly if you have money to spare on some broke perspective Biological scientist's who want to further their network of professionals in the field by attending  The Wildlife society national conference.
