Frost PTSA COVID-19 Relief Fund
Tax deductible
Frost Families,
In October, Frost PTSA received donations for the creation of a COVID-19 Emergency Relief Fund. Between the initial donation of $10,000.00, matching funds, and donations from families, we were able to provide $20,348.97 in rent, utilities, and childcare to Frost families that had been severely impacted due to COVID-19.
Frost families are still recovering, and our sincere hope is that (those who can in) our community will MATCH this amount to reach a goal of an additional $10,000 in support. These funds will be allocated as direct check payments for rent, crucial utilities, and emergency childcare for current Robert Frost Elementary families in need due to the impact of COVID-19.
Please consider giving what you can, even if it is a small amount. If you are unable to give, please consider sharing this with friends and family.
NEW: In response to the pandemic, Congress has allowed all taxpayers to deduct $300 of qualified cash contributions to tax-exempt public charities for 2020. This is an above-the-line deduction, which means it does not require you to itemize to claim the deduction.
If you need assistance: Please email [email redacted]
if you are a Frost family in need of resources or financial support due to Covid-19.
The Community Cares team will consider all requests for funding. The team will determine final decisions, and we understand that we will sadly be unable to fulfill all of the requests received. Frost PTSA will administer the COVID-19 fund, which will be a separate initiative of the PTSA.
Robert Frost Elementary PTSA is a registered 501c3 nonprofit. Our Tax ID is 23-7427654.
