What I’m Aiming For
We’ve got two significant irons in the fire at Frontier Partisans: First, we’re opening a long-overdue Frontier Partisans Trading Post — plunder and foofaraw to help you represent and celebrate the frontier spirit in the 21st century.
We promise good value for your plews — not rendezvous prices — and we won’t ply you with busthead whiskey … unless you insist upon it.
Second, we’re going to launch a Frontier Partisan Podcast come autumn. Podcasting is a medium I have come to love and I consume history shows like… well, like guzzling busthead whiskey at rendezvous. It is, in many ways, the ideal medium for delivering historical frontier storytelling. I’m ambitious about this. I aim to deliver a frontier history podcast with the depth, weight and value of Dan Carlin’s Hardcore History.
Doing this right means some investment in upgrading the Frontier Partisans website and purchasing podcasting gear. It’s not as big an endeavor as leading a fur brigade into the Rockies, or one of Frederick Russell Burnham's prospecting treks in the African bush — but, as booshway, I’d sure appreciate some partners to throw in and ride the trail with me.
Thanks, pards!
