I currently work in a hospital Emergency Department in California. I am requesting monetary support, directly for supplies for the front-lines Emergency Personnel. In preparation for the HIGH LIKELIHOOD that we will be running very low on, and potentially out of supplies, we are proactively purchasing protective gear (PPE equipment,) decontaminating products, and other supplies. This will help us safely care for the influx of patients and ourselves, if indeed our supply chain runs out. The hope is that we remain healthy and all get to go home to our family and friends at the end of the day, having done our part in slowing down the rapid spread of Covid-19. Any funds and/or supplies that are raised and not utilized by us directly will then be distributed to other frontline Emergency Personnel.
