With a heavy heart, I am reaching out to honor the life of my beloved mom, Cordella, who was known as a daughter, sister, aunt, and friend to those who surrounded her. For many years, she courageously battled mental illness. In the last year of her life, she experienced a beautiful season of healing and regained her independence, living on her own. Witnessing her embrace that freedom brought our family so much joy.

Cordella was a woman of deep faith. She loved the Lord, and whenever the church doors were open, you could always find her there.

Tragically, just a week after her birthday and almost a year after her healing, we lost her unexpectedly.

Cordella is survived by her loving family—her sisters, brothers, daughter, nieces, and nephews—who deeply mourn her loss.

Her sudden passing has left us heartbroken and facing significant financial challenges. We are raising funds to cover the costs of her celebration of life and burial, so we can honor her journey, her strength, and the healing she experienced. Any support—whether through a donation or by sharing this fundraiser—means so much to our family during this difficult time.

Our goal is to raise $20,000, as Cordella did not have life insurance.
