Help me bring Juniper's Playbook to life

Hello! My name is Haley Bella Seda and I'm asking for your support to help me film a proof-of-concept for Juniper's Playbook, a TV pilot I've been writing for a year and a half. Juniper's Playbook was previously selected for the New York Script Awards (winter edition) and the Chicago Script Awards (fall edition) in 2024.

Backstory: Graduating in 2023 right as the writers' and actors' strike began left me feeling lost. There wasn't a clear end or answer, and as someone who spent the last four years training as an actor, I suddenly felt like everything I was working towards felt useless. However, in that uncertain time, I found solace in football. I had been a fan of the Kansas City Chiefs since around 2020, but that fall of 2023 is when I really felt connected to the team. I found unexpected comfort in shouting at the TV, tracking stats, and growing closer to my dad and brother as we watched them go to the Super Bowl for the second time in a row.

What began as a personal escape quickly became something more.

That’s when Juniper’s Playbook was born—a story about a struggling actress who finds a new sense of purpose in the most unlikely place: the NFL. At its heart, it’s about discovering unexpected passions, redefining success, and honoring the complicated path that dreams often take.
