Imagine trying to focus on your studies while your family faces daily life-and-death struggles in one of the most dangerous places on Earth. That’s my reality. My name is Mohammed Qudaih, and I’m a senior at Oakland University, majoring in Computer Science and Engineering. While I’m on the verge of achieving my dream of graduating next year, my journey has been anything but ordinary.
I am the youngest of ten siblings, with my entire family still in Gaza, enduring the horrors of an unrelenting war. Tragically, I’ve lost my brother and many cousins in this conflict, and every day I live with the fear of losing more loved ones. Yet, through this immense pain, I’ve found strength in my education—a light guiding me through the darkest times.
But now, I face a critical obstacle: I need $3,000 to cover my tuition for this semester. Without this support, I risk derailing my academic journey, a path I’ve fought so hard to stay on despite the chaos surrounding me.
This is where you come in. Your support can help me not only stay in school but also show that even in the face of unimaginable loss, hope and resilience can prevail. Every donation, no matter how small, brings me closer to finishing my degree and building a future that honors my family’s sacrifices.
Thank you for reading my story and for any support you can offer. Please share this with others who might be willing to help. Together, we can turn hardship into hope.
