Help My 65-Year-Old Father Rebuild His Life After Losing Everything in Gaza
A lifetime of hard work, reduced to a tent. Help my father find dignity, safety, and hope again.
Before October 7, our family lived a peaceful and dignified life in our home in Gaza. We had a place to call home, a family gathered under one roof, and the simple comforts that many people take for granted.
But everything changed on October 7.
The war tore our lives apart. Our family was scattered, with each member forced to seek safety in a different area. My father and I were still at home when evacuation orders forced us to leave everything behind and flee to southern Gaza.
We left our home with no certainty about what tomorrow would bring.
A Life of Displacement, Fear, and Loss
Our journey was filled with suffering. We were forced to live in tents, struggling to find food and meet even our most basic needs. Bombing surrounded us, and the danger was constant. Every day was a struggle to survive.
The home where we once lived with dignity and security was eventually bombed. Everything that once represented our family life was taken away.
Today, we have no home to return to. We are still living in a tent, trying to survive under extremely difficult conditions.
My Father Is 65. He Deserves Better Than This.
My father is 65 years old. He suffers from high blood pressure, diabetes, and cataracts.
After a lifetime of working and caring for his family, he has reached an age when he should be enjoying peace, comfort, and security.
Instead, war has taken away his home, his stability, and his ability to meet even his most basic daily needs.
It is heartbreaking to watch your father grow older and struggle to provide for his simplest needs after spending his entire life working to give his family a dignified life.
No father should have to experience this. No one should have to spend their later years worrying about where they will sleep, what they will eat, or how they will survive another day.
Winter Is Coming, and We Are Terrified.
As winter approaches, our situation becomes even more frightening.
Our tent is old and badly worn. It offers very little protection against the cold and heavy rain. When it rains, water seeps inside, flooding our tent and soaking our belongings.
We fear losing what little we have left.
For many people, winter means cold weather and rainy days. For us, it means another season of uncertainty, suffering, and trying to survive without a proper home.
Your Kindness Can Make a Difference
I am creating this campaign because my father needs help. He deserves to live with dignity, safety, and peace. He deserves a life where he does not have to worry every day about food, shelter, and basic necessities.
We are asking for your kindness and support to help us meet our essential daily needs and find better, safer living conditions, especially as winter approaches.
Even a $10 donation can make a difference.
If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this campaign with your friends, family, and community. Sharing can help our story reach someone who may be able to help.
We are not asking for luxury. We are asking for the basic necessities of life, a safe place to sleep, and the chance for my father to live the years ahead with dignity.
After everything we have lost, your kindness could give us something we desperately need:
Hope.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for reading our story, caring about our situation, and standing with us.
