My name is Arwa, I am 33 years old, a Computer and Communications Engineer from Gaza.
Today, I am not writing to you as an engineer… but as a woman who lost everything.
During the war, my home was destroyed. I lost my job, my stability, and every sense of safety. I was forced to flee from north gaza to the south, and I now live in a tent, facing daily struggles just to survive.
But the hardest loss was not my home…
I have been married for 5 years. After 4 long years of waiting, I finally became pregnant. That baby was my miracle—my hope in the middle of war and destruction.
But my joy turned into heartbreak.
My baby was diagnosed with a serious condition (fluid on the brain), and I could not continue the pregnancy beyond the sixth month. I went through a painful miscarriage 10 months ago—an experience that left a deep emotional and physical scar.
Since then, I have not been able to get pregnant again.
Today, Gaza’s healthcare system is devastated. Fertility clinics and IVF centers have been destroyed. There is no treatment available for me here.
My only hope is to leave Gaza and undergo IVF treatment abroad—to have one more chance to become a mother.
But I cannot do this alone.
After losing everything, I simply cannot afford the cost of travel and medical treatment.
I am asking for your help—not just to survive, but to live again…
To heal…
And to have a chance to hold my baby one day.
Your support, no matter how small, could change my life.
If you cannot donate, please share my story.
It might reach someone who can help.
Thank you for standing with me in this difficult time
