Sometimes the most powerful acts of kindness start with simply noticing someone.❤️

A few days ago, I shared a post about a young man named Josh who walks to work every single day. No complaints. No excuses. Just determination. Rain or shine, he shows up.

I never imagined the post would gain attention. I simply wanted to find a more efficient way to help him get to work and to recognize the quiet perseverance he shows daily.

Because being seen is one of the highest forms of love and kindness.

Many of us know what it feels like to go through hard seasons and still have to show up. Josh does exactly that. He doesn’t ask for help. He just keeps going.

What started as an idea to purchase an electric scooter so he could get to work more safely and efficiently has grown into something much bigger.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, we are now hoping to surprise Josh with something life-changing:

A reliable vehicle

Driver’s education classes

Fees associated with obtaining his license

⛽ Initial gas and insurance support

Our goal isn’t just transportation. It’s opportunity. Independence. Stability. A reminder that his hard work matters.

The City of Central has shown once again that we take care of our own. This community is filled with generous hearts, and together we can do something that will impact Josh for years to come.
