From Vegas to Texas: A New Start for Jessica

Hello!

My name is Jessica and I really could use some support. Over the past few months, I have been fighting to make ends meet here in Vegas and to keep myself afloat. I've been dealing with my health as someone who is immuno-compromised, no car, no resources whatsoever all while trying to secure a job here. This market has been very difficult and I've been on the brink of living out on the street. I have gone days without eating. Ended up in the ER a few days ago. A few weeks ago, I was offered the opportunity to leave Vegas and start a new in another state as long as I was able to secure income. Yesterday I was able to secure a job working as a behavioral therapist for kids on the spectrum. I originally had someone that was open to making the drive out here to Vegas and taking me back to Texas and helping me move what I could fit in a single sedan and selling and leaving the rest of my belongings behind, but I recently just found out that is no longer an option and I am now desperate. A lot of other things have been happening behind the scenes which make this situation more dire for me that it is way too much to even put into words here.

I am here asking for help to raise funds for me to get to Texas another way. I already received my job offer and have a start date of July 7 and I am worried that I secured a job that would allow me to get on my feet, but not being able to make this trip would cause me to stay behind in Vegas with no roof or job. I've even begun selling things of sentimental value just to get any sort of monetary resource.

Funds would be used for transportation to Texas by whatever means necessary, food, gas if needed and I dont need to stay overnight in a hotel if I can't afford. Any excess funds would be used for two weeks on lyfts/ubers to and from my new job until my first paycheck and any important needs. My last hope is that I have until the end of the month and my time here is cutting short.
