From Vallejo to the Mecca—this is bigger than college. This is purpose.
Hi, I’m Jade—a 17-year-old graduating senior from Vallejo, California with a 3.6 GPA, a heart for my community, and a passion for growth, leadership, and making an impact.
This fall, I’ll be attending Howard University—one of the most prestigious HBCUs in the country, known for shaping some of the greatest minds and voices in Black excellence. as time has passed Howard has become my dream school— not just because of its name, but because of what it stands for: power, purpose, legacy, and opportunity. And now, that dream is real.
But dreams take more than acceptance letters—they take resources. I’ll be flying across the country to D.C., which comes with big expenses. From flights and housing deposits to move-in costs and everyday needs, I’m raising funds to help create an emergency and transition fund that ensures I can focus on learning—not just surviving.
I’ve spent high school involved, disciplined, and driven: leading, volunteering, and pushing myself forward. I’ve built something strong here—and now, I’m ready to build something greater at Howard.
So I’m asking—if you believe in youth futures, if you believe in education, if you believe in me—please consider donating to my fund. Any amount helps. Even sharing the link makes a difference.
This isn’t just about helping me get to college—it’s about helping me thrive once I’m there.
Thank you so much for supporting my journey. I’ll make you proud.
