Note from Jennifer, campaign host: I have a change in my bank structure and have to pause collecting donations while I deal with paperwork. I will have an update as soon as I get things resolved. Thank you & thank you for helping people in Gaza!
My name is Reem, and I lost everything.
I was just a university student, dreaming of finishing my degree, of building a future. I had books, notebooks, friends, and hopes. I was studying hard because I believed that even under war, education was my way out. But all of it—gone in seconds.
One night, everything changed.
My home was destroyed.
My university closed.
My life stopped.
I survived, but I’m no longer the same. I live every day under fear, under the sound of drones, with no roof, no bed, no privacy. I lost my room, my clothes, my laptop, even the quiet corner where I used to write my thoughts and cry alone.
I have nothing left.
Every day feels heavier than the one before.
I try to stay strong, but it’s hard when the world keeps turning its back.
I’m not asking for luxury. I’m just asking for a little help to survive.
To rebuild something.
To feel human again.
Please, if you’re reading this—don’t look away.
Your donation, no matter how small, can help me breathe again.
Thank you for not forgetting me.
