Hello, my name is Jennifer in Seattle, WA. I have known Reem since February. - she is a wonderful person - kind, intelligent, and thoughtful. I am helping Reem to raise funds to survive the siege and starvation of Gaza. I send all funds received to Reem through Bank of Palestine on a weekly basis. Here is Reem's story in her own words:

My name is Reem, and I lost everything.

I was just a university student, dreaming of finishing my degree, of building a future. I had books, notebooks, friends, and hopes. I was studying hard because I believed that even under war, education was my way out. But all of it—gone in seconds.

One night, everything changed.

My home was destroyed.

My university closed.

My life stopped.

I survived, but I’m no longer the same. I live every day under fear, under the sound of drones, with no roof, no bed, no privacy. I lost my room, my clothes, my laptop, even the quiet corner where I used to write my thoughts and cry alone.

I have nothing left.

Every day feels heavier than the one before.

I try to stay strong, but it’s hard when the world keeps turning its back.

I’m not asking for luxury. I’m just asking for a little help to survive.

To rebuild something.

To feel human again.
