Help My Husband Recover After a Brutal Attack

On the night of April 14, 2025, our lives changed forever.

My husband was brutally attacked by someone he trusted — someone he called a friend. He was punched in the face, causing him to fall and hit his head on a concrete floor, knocking him unconscious. While he lay there, helpless, this person continued to kick him in the head and face, causing multiple skull fractures and a broken jaw.

He was rushed to the hospital for emergency brain surgery to address several major brain bleeds, followed by jaw reconstruction surgery. He couldn’t breathe on his own and had to be placed on a ventilator. While hospitalized, he developed pneumonia and ran a dangerously high fever that medication couldn’t control. I had to make the heartbreaking decision to remove him from the ventilator and consent to a tracheostomy.

We spent 23 days in the hospital — 12 of them while he was sedated. These were the hardest days of our lives. Our family — especially his children — were in constant pain, filled with fear, heartbreak, and uncertainty. But by the grace of God, and with the help of your prayers, he’s still with us.

Even now, he is not the same person. He faces a long, difficult recovery that includes:
    •    Occupational and physical therapy
    •    Trauma-focused therapy
    •    12 daily medications
    •    Ongoing medical appointments

Doctors say it could take months or even years for his brain to heal. Right now, he requires 24/7 care and is unable to work or drive. He has no medical insurance, and our bills are already over $200,000 — and growing.

This attack stole a part of him — from me, his children, and his parents. It took away his independence and his ability to support his family.

We’re asking for your help.

If you’re able, please consider donating. No amount is too small — and every bit will help ease this overwhelming burden and support his road to recovery.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you. Your kindness means more than we can ever express.

God bless you all.
