Hello, my name is Jennifer and our family is blessed to be close friends with The Evans Family.
On Sunday, 1/18/26, a devastating fire changed everything for this family of four in a matter of minutes. What began as an ordinary day ended in the total loss of their home—and with it, nearly everything they owned.
The Evans Family have always been the kind of people who show up for others—quietly, consistently, and without ever expecting anything in return. This fire has destroyed their home completely. Now, for the first time, they are the ones in need of the same kindness and generosity they have so freely given to others over the years.
Tragically, the fire also took the lives of their two beloved dogs, who were truly members of the family. Their loss has added an unimaginable layer of grief to an already overwhelming situation. These dogs were loyal companions, sources of comfort, and deeply loved. The heartbreak of losing them cannot be put into words.
This family now faces the impossible task of starting over from zero. They need help with everything— possible temporary housing, clothing, food, basic necessities, replacing household items, and eventually rebuilding a sense of stability and home. Even with insurance, the road ahead is long, uncertain, and filled with expenses that are not fully covered.
