From Tragedy to Hope: Stand With Zac & Emmy

Hi everyone,

I'd like to introduce you to two incredible people—Zac and Emmy Parker.

I've known Zac and Emmy for a long time, and I can honestly say they are one of the kindest, most hardworking, humble young couples I know. They were married in November last year and are now preparing to welcome twin boys into the world later this year. Their excitement and dedication to building a loving home for their growing family has been truly inspiring.

Emmy is a registered nurse, and Zac runs his own electrical business. Both have always worked tirelessly to provide for their future, but unfortunately, life has thrown them some heartbreaking and unexpected challenges in recent months.

In May of this year, Zac suffered and was diagnosed with Bells Palsy forcing him out of work for several weeks to focus on recovery. While we're so grateful he's been making progress, the time off took a significant financial toll on their family.

Just as things were beginning to settle and Zac returned to work, tragedy struck again.

In the early hours of Tuesday, July 8th, Zac and Emmy were victims of a terrifying home invasion. Police believe the attack was targeted—but at the wrong house. Two intruders broke in around midnight. Zac, being the protective and courageous person he is, did everything he could to defend his home and his pregnant wife. In the struggle, Zac was shot in the leg amd suffered many blows to the head causing severe concussion before the intruders fled.

Now, Zac is again facing a long road to recovery—physically, emotionally, mentally and financially, with both Zac & Emmy suffering from ptsd and causing high stress on her pregnancy with the boys. With twins on the way, the weight of this trauma is unimaginable. Whilst they are waiting for government assistance it can take a lengthy time to go through and all their savings they have for the arrival of their twin boys is now being exhausted.

I’ve started this fundraiser to try and lift some of that burden. Whether it’s a small donation or simply sharing this page, any help would mean the world to Zac, Emmy and their boys.
