Honey has had a really rough life. She was found living on the streets and has been living outside for over a year. Much is unknown about her past. Possibly she got loose as a puppy or was turned loose to fend for herself. She was scared and fearful of the world. Although she braved coming just close enough for food or to play with other dogs, she was just not confident in befriending people.
Thankfully, Paws Patrol Las Vegas helped to secure Honey. This wild girl of desert brush no longer has to be afraid of people. She is learning to be loved, to be handfed, and to be gently touched. Honey has been transferred into the care of Animal Network rescue. The original person who discovered Honey could not keep her and knew she would be euthanized at her local shelter. This is where we come in to save Honey's future. She's a gentle, kind soul who deserves the best out of life. But she needs help building her confidence, trusting people, and becoming the best version of herself for adoption.
Funds are being raised to get Honey into a board and train program. All Out K9 has graciously agreed to take on her case. She will be in a special program until she is ready to move onto a foster or adoptive home. Her training cost is $2600. Any additional funds raised will go towards Honey's food and supplies and training sessions for a future adopter. Due to how much needs to be raised for this single case, we are kindly asking that donations not be donated through the rescue website. Donations can, however, be directly sent to All Out K9 in honor of Honey. Be sure to email this account for instructions and so we can keep track of her donations for final payment.
We greatly appreciate any donation. No amount is too small as we help try to heal this sweet heeler. If you are interested in fostering or adopting Honey after her rehabilitation, please kindly send a message through this GoFundMe account.
Thank you for helping us give Honey a new lease on life!
