Hi, my name is Klara, and together with my boyfriend Ciarán, we want to bring a puppy we rescued in Georgia, home, to Ireland.
In June, while travelling in Georgia, my boyfriend and I came across four abandoned puppies. They were scared, hungry, dehydrated, and sick. We couldn’t leave them behind, so we spent 3 hours rescuing them. After finding new accommodation, to bring them to, we took a taxi there so they could rest while we fed them and thought of what to do. The next day, we brought them to a local dog rescue organisation run by a wonderful woman named Sara (Dog Organisation Georgia, @dog.org.ge on Instagram).
Sadly, the puppies were diagnosed with parvo and distemper. Despite every effort, three of them—Frankie, Bailey, and Nellie—passed away. But one little fighter, Hailey, survived. She has been through so much already, but she’s thriving now and ready for her chance at a happy life.
We are adopting Hailey and bringing her home with us to Ireland, but the process is long and costly. To legally enter the EU, Hailey must complete several steps:
- Microchip, passport, and deworming
- Rabies vaccination and follow-up blood test
- A three-month waiting period
- Health checks and export certificate
- Flight to Ireland and a proper transport crate
Altogether, this will cost around €1,500. Every donation will go directly toward Hailey’s medical care, travel documents, and flight to Ireland.
If we raise any extra funds, it will be directly donated to the amazing organisation which helped Hailey and her sisters.
Hailey has already beaten the odds. With your help, we can give her the safe, loving forever home she deserves. ❤️
If you’re unable to donate, we’d be so grateful if you could share this fundraiser to help spread the word.
Thank you so much for supporting Hailey’s journey!
