Brooklyn Walker — a vibrant, fearless, 14-year-old champion barrel racer from Wellington, FL — is fighting for her life after a devastating accident. She was riding her skateboard peacefully when she was recklessly struck by dirtbikes near her home. In an instant, everything shifted.
Instead of the arena, the rodeo, and the life every teenager deserves, Brooklyn is now in critical condition — and today, she is being transferred to Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami to begin intensive inpatient rehabilitation. This is a major milestone. Jackson Memorial is one of the top rehab facilities in the country, and Brooklyn earned her place there.
She will be there for the next 1 to 2 months.
