Help my brother fight cancer

Hello, my name is Claudia. I’m creating this fundraiser for my brother. I want to make he's life a little easier.

He was recently diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer, and it has already spread to different parts of his body. Everything changed in a moment. In a matter of hours, he had to leave his home and was flown to the capital on a medical plane for urgent treatment. It all happened so quickly.

My brother is calm, kind, and full of light. He loves to dance, practice yoga, ride his bike and his coffee in the morning, among many other simple things about life. He’s worked in a mine for over 30 years, a man of the earth. Even now, with everything he’s facing, he stays positive. He has a wife and daughter who adore him, a granddaughter who misses his presence, and friends and coworkers who have sent him beautiful messages of love and strength.

He’s always been a strong one, but even strong souls need help. His health insurance and work benefits aren’t enough to cover what this fight demands. And I know, deep down, that beyond the man, there’s still the little boy he once was, and all he needs right now is to feel held, seen, and reminded that life still carries sweetness.

I believe in the connections that tie us together, like roots beneath the earth, like the air we all breathe. I believe in kindness, in community, and in the invisible threads that pull us to one another in hard times. Hola, mi nombre es Claudia. Estoy creando esta colecta para mi hermano. Quiero hacerle la vida un poquito más fácil.

Hace poco le diagnosticaron cáncer de pulmón en etapa 4, y ya se ha extendido a otras partes de su cuerpo. Todo cambió en un instante. En cuestión de horas, tuvo que dejar su casa y fue trasladado en un avión sanitario a la capital para recibir tratamiento urgente. Todo sucedió muy rápido.

Mi hermano es una persona tranquila, bondadosa y llena de luz. Le encanta bailar, practicar yoga, andar en bicicleta y disfrutar su café por la mañana, entre tantas otras cosas simples y hermosas de la vida. Ha trabajado en una mina durante más de 30 años, un hombre de la tierra. Incluso ahora, con todo lo que está enfrentando, mantiene una actitud positiva. Tiene una esposa y una hija que lo adoran, una nieta que extraña su presencia, y amigos y compañeros que le han enviado mensajes llenos de amor y fuerza.

Siempre ha sido un hombre fuerte, pero hasta las almas más fuertes necesitan ayuda. Su seguro de salud y los beneficios de su trabajo no alcanzan para cubrir todo lo que esta lucha requiere. Y sé, en lo más profundo, que más allá del hombre, sigue estando ese niño que alguna vez fue, y que hoy lo que más necesita es sentirse sostenido, visto y recordado de que la vida todavía guarda dulzura.

Yo creo en los lazos que nos unen, como raíces bajo la tierra, como el aire que todos respiramos. Creo en la bondad, en la comunidad y en esos hilos invisibles que nos acercan en los momentos difíciles. Si sentís en el corazón acompañarlo, ya sea donando, compartiendo este mensaje o enviándole unas palabras de aliento, será un regalo enorme para él y para nuestra familia.
