Hello, my name is Diego, I’m 25 years old, and I’m on the path to becoming a doctor. But today, I need your help to cross the finish line.

I live in Colombia with my grandparents, who have given me love and stability while my parents work tirelessly abroad. I haven’t seen my mother in seven years, or my father in four. My dad drives a taxi in Spain, and my mom cleans houses. Every peso they send is a piece of their sacrifice, their hope.

My dream isn’t just mine. It belongs to my family—my grandparents who raised me, my parents who give everything from afar, and everyone who believes that medicine can change lives.

I’m halfway through medical school. I’ve made it this far through sleepless nights, relentless effort, and a deep commitment to my calling. I’ve maintained a 4.2 GPA out of 5.0, but now, tuition fees, medical supplies, and clinical costs have become a wall I can’t climb alone.

Why am I asking for your help?

Hola, mi nombre es Diego, tengo 25 años y estoy a punto de convertirme en médico. Pero hoy, necesito tu ayuda para cruzar la línea final.

Vivo en Colombia con mis abuelos, quienes me han dado amor y estabilidad mientras mis padres trabajan incansablemente en el extranjero. No veo a mi mamá desde hace siete años, ni a mi papá desde hace cuatro. Él es taxista en España, y mi madre limpia casas. Cada peso que envían es un pedazo de su esfuerzo, de su esperanza.

Mi sueño no es solo mío. Es el de mi familia, el de mis abuelos que me cuidan, el de mis padres que se sacrifican desde otro continente, y el de cada persona que cree que la medicina puede transformar vidas.

Estoy a mitad de mi carrera de medicina. He llegado hasta aquí con esfuerzo, noches sin dormir, y un compromiso absoluto con mi vocación. He mantenido un promedio de 4.2 sobre 5.0, pero los costos de matrícula, materiales y prácticas clínicas se han vuelto una barrera que no puedo superar solo.

¿Por qué te pido ayuda?
