On September 26, 2025, what began as a day of joy and celebration turned into a night of heartbreak. Our family gathered to celebrate the wedding of Jonathan and Hailey Henry in a beautiful, God-centered ceremony. Just hours later, tragedy struck.

Jonathan and Morgan’s dad was struck as a pedestrian by a car while crossing the road. First responders performed CPR for 10 minutes before he was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center. His injuries are extensive and life-threatening. He suffered a C6 and C7 spinal fracture, a traumatic brain injury, multiple fractures to his pelvis, legs, and feet, and a broken collarbone. He has already undergone extensive spinal surgeries, with more surgeries still ahead. Right now, he remains stable but in critical condition.

We are asking for your prayers—for the surgeons and medical team caring for him, for full healing and recovery, for restored movement in his extremities (he is currently paralyzed from the mid chest down), and for God’s peace to surround our family during this devastating time. We believe in a Mighty God who is still I’m the miracle business!

If you feel led to give, donations will go toward helping Jonathan (Hailey) and Morgan with the costs of travel (4 hours round trip), lost wages, lodging, and meals as they make several trips a week to be with their dad during his long and extensive road to recovery.
