Help Me Cover Oklahoma’s Biggest Sports Moments This Summer

Hey y’all — I’m Hunter Sheppard, a freelance sports photographer and content creator based in Oklahoma.

This July, I’m taking on back-to-back coverage of two major events — featuring some of the best in professional softball and the top high school athletes in the state. It’s a fast-paced run, and I’ll be there to capture every moment: emotion, grit, and everything in between.

July 20–23 – OKC Spark Home Series vs. Florida Vibe (Edmond)

July 26–27 – OKC Spark Postseason Tournament (Edmond)

July 28–31 – OCA All-State Week

▪ Volleyball – Jenks

▪ Girls & Boys Basketball – Tulsa Memorial

▪ Football – Shawnee

I’ll be shooting everything from game action and sideline stories to raw, emotional portraits — making sure these athletes get the spotlight they’ve earned on some of the biggest stages of the summer.

Why I’m Raising $2,000

This stretch means two full weeks of travel, staying in both Edmond and Tulsa, plus equipment upkeep and day-to-day content production. I’m raising $2,000 to help cover:

✅ Lodging in Edmond during Spark Tournament Week — because Ubering from Purcell every day? Let’s just say...

✅ Lodging and meals during All-State Week in Tulsa

✅ Transportation costs (gas, rideshares, etc.)

✅ Equipment upkeep — SD cards, batteries, mic accessories

✅ Editing time, content delivery, and post-production

✅ MOST importantly — helping secure the 28mm prime lens I’ve used all season, and covering the camera body I’ve been renting to deliver this work the right way
