Hello everyone my name is Ester, I am a good friend and neighbour to the Watson family who recently lost their barn to a devastating fire on November 30th.

They were able to save their cows and donkeys but lost calves, goats, sheep, pigs, and barn cats.

If you have been to A Perfect View Farm you have been to The Barn. It was like free therapy for anyone who would use it. The barn housed their “big guys”, smallest animals in stalls, barn cats, hay, feed, tack, farm equipment and everything else in between. Maybe you played hide and seek in the hay bales, snuggled baby goats on their first day, helped rehab animals or witnessed them give the most comfortable passing to their most in need. It’s always been the hub of the farm. “These aren’t just animals to us, these are our babies!”

Currently their horses are being cared for by friends to allow the cows enough shelter to stay on the property. The sheep, goats, alpacas and donkeys are cohabiting in one pen. We would love to build a new safe haven for their animals!

The Watson family (Jessemy, Hayley, Lily and Irelynn) are beyond grateful for the hay donations, temporary board for their horses, tack, feed, food, cleanup services, and monetary donations that they have already received from their local farmers, neighbours, friends, family, coworkers, and strangers who’ve stopped in.

This money would go towards the rebuild. Creating a safe haven for their animals, and continuing the family farm for their girls. Any donations would be greatly appreciated to aid in the rebuild.
