Once upon a time, a heartbroken little girl found hope, healing and a new dream after watching "Return of the Jedi" NINE TIMES in a theater in 1983.
Forty years later, her efforts are about to pay off!
Alyne Harding became the City Producer for the Austin 48 Hour Film Project in April 0f 2013, the same month that her divorce was final -- or as she likes to call it, "NOT my first Kobayashi Maru!" An old hat at new beginnings in the face of the unknown, Alyne forged her way through her first year and finally entered into a world she'd only ever dreamt of, making new friends, learning new skills and discovering new things about herself and what she could accomplish. The following year, she attended her first Filmapalooza and found a whole new family that spanned the entire globe.

It also gave her a new objective... attending the Cannes Film Festival, one of the most prestigious film festivals in the world, located on the French Riviera!
In 2022, Alyne and her co-producer, Keira, took on the Dallas 48 Hour Film Project, in addition to the Austin project. In March of 2023, Alyne and Keira accompanied SEVEN Texas-made shorts to Filmapalooza in Los Angeles -- three were nominated for six awards, with one win. The Dallas winning film, "Fault/Lines" garnered FOUR nominations, an Honorable Mention AND will be included in the selection going to the Cannes Short Film Corner in May!
The experiences and connections that can be made in Cannes are potentially life-changing and career-making -- not just for Alyne, but for her Texas film family. She is DETERMINED to get there, even if she has to BLEED for it! You can help.
