My name is Cherry. I'm a solo mum, a professional artist and a community wellness facilitator based in West Cornwall. I live with AuDHD, OCD & PTSD — and I have spent a lifetime turning adversity into strength.
I have survived things that would have stopped most people in their tracks. In 2020, when my life nearly ended at the hands of an abuser, something inside me changed. That moment — as terrifying as it was — became the turning point that led me here. To Siren Forge. To this mission. To building something that means other people don't have to face what I faced alone.
I am not defined by what happened to me. I am defined by what I chose to do next.
Creative expression has been my constant throughout — the thing that kept me moving forward when nothing else did. It gave me focus, purpose and a way to process experiences that words couldn't reach. I want to share that with others.
I'm building Siren Forge — a community wellness project using creative art experiences to bring healing, connection and joy to people who need it most. Our tagline says it all: Forged from Adversity.
Cornwall faces a silent crisis. Each year, 10,000 reports of domestic abuse are made in our county. Three people working in UK farming and agriculture die by suicide every week. Rural isolation is devastating our communities — and accessible mental health support is almost impossible to find.
Siren Forge responds with something simple — paint, space, movement and belonging.
To run these sessions I need to purchase essential equipment including a 5 metre bell tent, professional art supplies, protective overalls, safety goggles and public liability insurance — allowing me to bring Siren Forge directly into the community across Cornwall.
Your donation goes directly towards:
Free sessions for domestic abuse survivors
A bell tent and art supplies
Public liability insurance
Marketing materials
Every penny is accounted for. Every pound makes a difference.
Thank you.
