My name is Davon (Dayday), and I’m reaching out during one of the most difficult times of my life. I am a survivor of domestic violence. Recently, my home and vehicle were destroyed in the course of that situation—along with much of my pride and sense of security. Although I am beyond grateful to have made it out alive, I am now struggling to recover and rebuild a safe, stable life for myself and my children.
My van is an absolute necessity for our daily lives. My older children attend Milton Hershey School and rely on me for transportation and visits. My youngest child has therapy appointments several times a week, and I also need my vehicle to get to work. Without reliable transportation, it’s nearly impossible to keep up with these responsibilities and move forward.
I was recently on FMLA leave to care for my youngest and currently have minimal income as I try to get back on my feet. Any help—no matter how small—would mean the world to us. Your kindness will directly help me repair or replace my vehicle and continue to provide stability, care, and hope for my children.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading our story, for sharing, and for supporting us during this difficult time. Your compassion truly gives us the strength to keep going.
With love and gratitude,
Davon (Dayday)
