Hi I’m Tyeisha Strickland the cousin of Quantavis Lovett.
On May 6, 2026—just four days after his 18th birthday he was an victim of a shooting in Dublin ,Ga
Quantavis was shot three times and rushed into critical care. He was shot in the neck , the back and the buttocks.‼️
For 48 hours, he fought for his life. He was placed on LIFE SUPPORT endured dangerously high fevers, drifted in and out of consciousness, and underwent multiple surgeries to remove the bullets.
One remains in his body today. Hopefully soon the 3rd bullet is able to be removed ‼️
Yet even in the midst of pain, uncertainty, and fear, his strength never wavered. God had a different plan for his life.
On May 22, 2026, Quantavis WALKED ❤️ He didn’t need a wheelchair. He didn’t need assistance. His mother didn’t have to accept his diploma on his behalf. He walked across that stage himself and accepted his own high school diploma.
️Today, he is preparing for the next chapter: college
Our family is working together to help him reach this milestone so he can continue striving toward the greatness he is destined for. Quantavis is hardworking, determined, and deeply goal‑driven. To know him is to love him—he is a gentle giant with a powerful spirit and a heart full of ambition.
He is committed to rising above his surroundings and building a better future for himself. With your support, he can take the next step toward that future.
Below is his Amazon school wish list. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps him move closer to the opportunities he has fought so hard to reach ❤️
As a family where just asking for people to understand gun violence. Put the guns down innocent people are being hurt or either killed.
