From Nichole:
On September 19th, my son and I were involved in a severe car accident that changed our lives in an instant. Many of you have already reached out with prayers, encouragement, and support, and I cannot thank you enough.
By God’s grace, we survived, though the injuries were serious. My son sustained a broken wrist/arm. I was trapped in the car with a broken left femur, a shattered right ankle, multiple lacerations on my left forearm, and painful road rash from the airbags. The jaws of life were used to extract me, and I had to be airlifted to UVA for immediate surgery.
Recovery will be a long road. I had two surgeries so far and hopefully no more to come. I am facing extensive physical therapy, and ongoing medical care. On top of that, the financial strain of medical bills, life flight costs from being air lifted to UVA, rehabilitation costs, and time away from work has quickly become overwhelming and is only going to get worse before healed.
I am asking, humbly, for your help. Donations will go directly toward covering medical expenses, recovery needs, and helping with groceries and bills.
Every bit of support, whether through a donation, sharing this page, or continuing to keep us in your prayers, means the world to us.
We are so thankful to be alive, and I know with faith, determination, and the support of friends and family, we will make it through this.
Thank you for standing with us!
