Every day, countless animals in Nepal struggle to survive, cold, hungry, and in pain.
My friend Gehendra (“G”), a dedicated veterinarian, founder of "All for Paws", has been rescuing and caring for these animals with whatever little he has, turning donated clothes into warm bedding, feeding the hungry, and treating the sick and injured on his own.
Background Story of Stray Animals of Nepal
Every day across Nepal, thousands of dogs and other animals wander the streets homeless, hungry, and forgotten. They search through piles of garbage, often feeding on plastic waste to survive. Many fall sick from infections or untreated wounds.
The roads, meant for people, become deadly for them as countless animals lose their lives to speeding vehicles, while others are left injured and alone, with no one to help.
Treatment is expensive, and shelters are few. Most street animals depend entirely on kind-hearted individuals and small volunteer groups who do what they can — feeding them, offering makeshift beds, and rescuing the injured. But without a proper shelter and medical support, their suffering continues.
Our mission is to change that — to give them warmth, food, care, and the chance to heal.
Now, together, we dream of creating something lasting, a safe shelter for hundreds of animals, where they’ll find food, warmth, treatment, and love.
We also plan to purchase a rescue vehicle to reach and save animals faster in emergencies.
