Hi! I'm Inés Issel Burzyńska — a Spanish-Polish violinist with a lifelong dream: to become a professional musician.

Since I was a little girl, the violin has been my voice — a way to express what words could never capture and a bridge to connect with others on the deepest level. After years of hard work, dedication, and dreaming big, I made it all the way to Boston, where I'm now studying at the New England Conservatory (NEC) — one of the world’s most prestigious music schools.

Here’s the real dream: I have the incredible honor of studying under Professor Miriam Fried, one of the greatest violinists and teachers of our time. Being part of her studio is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that means more to me than words can say.

After completing my first year at NEC, I’ve grown immensely — both artistically and personally. I’m thrilled to share that I’ve been accepted to continue my studies in a new program at NEC. But as with many dreams, this one comes with a steep financial challenge.

I’ve been awarded a generous scholarship of $27,000 per year — something I’m deeply grateful for. However, I still face a tuition gap of $41,526 per year, not including living expenses, health insurance, and the costs of maintaining my instrument.

So, I’m reaching out for support. I’m fundraising to cover the next two years of my studies — a crucial time in my development as an artist.

While I’ve been awarded a $27,000 scholarship for this coming year, scholarships at NEC are reevaluated annually, and there’s no guarantee I’ll receive the same amount next year. That’s why raising funds now is so important — without full financial support, I may not be able to continue my studies into the second year of the program.
