From South to Salt: Coming home to begin again

Hey friends,
I’m turning 36 today, and it comes at the close of one of the hardest and most transformative chapters of my life. My 35th year was full of unexpected goodbyes, major life changes, and the beginning of a long path back home—literally and emotionally. I'm taking a new level of responsibility in my life right now. I've made my bed, and I'm ready to sleep in it, but the problem is that I don't actually have a bed!
I’m currently preparing to move back to Salt Lake City from Brazil. That means flying back to tie up loose ends, sorting and letting go of much of what I own, and returning to an empty apartment where I’ll need to rebuild from the ground up—furniture, bedding, utilities, all the basics.
I don’t love asking for help, especially on my birthday. But if I’ve been a source of kindness, support, or inspiration in your life, and you’re in a place to give a little love back, I’d be deeply grateful. I know times are tough for many, so truly—only if it feels right and possible.
Thank you for reading, for caring, and for being part of my life.
With love,
Raini
