Hi everyone,

Just this past Sunday, I brought home my sweet French Bulldog, Mochi. He’s only 8 months old—tiny, wrinkly, and already full of personality. From the moment I met him, I knew he was my dog. He’s the little companion I want to grow old with, through every couch cuddle, awkward Halloween costume, and dramatic snore session.

But almost immediately after bringing Mochi home, something was wrong. He started vomiting nonstop and seemed miserable. I rushed him to the vet, and they discovered a foreign object lodged in his stomach that required emergency surgery.

I thought that would be the end of it—but during his recovery, x-rays revealed that Mochi has a hiatal hernia, a condition where part of his stomach pushes into his chest, causing his ongoing vomiting and discomfort. On top of that, he’ll need BOAS surgery to help with his breathing.

The good news is that Mochi can live a full and happy life after these surgeries. The bad news is that the costs have added up quickly—from the emergency procedure to consultations and now the upcoming surgeries.

I’m doing everything I can to give Mochi the life he deserves, but I need help. If you’re able to donate, no matter the amount, it would make a world of difference for us. And if you can’t donate, sharing this story would mean just as much.

Mochi already means the world to me. He’s been with me for only a short time, but I can’t imagine life without him. He’s sweet, snuggly, stubborn, and snores like a 60-year-old man after Thanksgiving dinner. He’s my little sidekick, and I just want him to feel good and live the happy life he deserves.
