Across Uganda, many butchery owners and workers depend on animal slaughter to survive — even when they would rather do something else. With access to training, tools, and guidance, these same individuals can transition into veganic farming and plant-based food production, creating stable income while contributing to healthier communities and a more sustainable environment.

Through Ethical Vegan’s Community, Brenda and her team are launching a practical, hands-on transition program that helps participants grow food instead of taking lives — offering dignity, skills, and long-term opportunity.
