Our baseball community is heartbroken to share the loss of Kelsey, the beloved wife of Coach Scott and devoted mother of their six beautiful children, including our teammate Brennon on the Eagle Lake Elite 10u team. Kelsey fought a long, courageous battle with breast cancer, all while being a constant source of love and encouragement for her family and our team.

Kelsey’s greatest joy was her children, and she loved watching her son Brennon play baseball, cheering from the stands and supporting every player as if they were her own. Even when she couldn’t be there in person, she never missed a game on GameChanger. Her unwavering support and contagious spirit were like a coach’s rallying call, pushing Brennon to hustle every inning, slide into every base, and swing with everything he had—always giving 110% for the team. Her warmth touched everyone in our baseball community. Kelsey’s presence and love will be deeply missed, leaving a void that words cannot fill.

Now, Coach Scott and their children are facing an unimaginable journey without her. Scott, who has given so much to our kids as a mentor and friend, will need to step away from work to care for his children, including their youngest, baby Marley, who is only 1.5 years old. Funeral expenses can be extremely overwhelming. This is our moment to rally around them, just as Kelsey always did, and show them the strength of our community.
