We are reaching out with heavy hearts during one of the most difficult moments we have ever faced. Sonny is expected to be deported within the next few days, and we are doing everything we can to support him through this life changing transition.

 He will be starting over in the Philippines, far from the life, stability, and loved ones he has here with us. This is not just a physical move, but an emotional and financial reset, and as a family, we want to make sure he has a chance to rebuild with dignity, hope, and support.

We also want to be transparent. This is the same GoFundMe that previously raised $18,000+, and that amount went entirely toward legal fees for two attorneys, one federal and one immigration lawyer. We are using this current GoFundMe because it took some time for the funds from the first GoFundMe to be transferred. Donations received now will go directly toward helping Sonny restart his life back home. We have set a goal of $30,000 to help cover basic needs such as housing, food, and essential support as he transitions. If we are blessed to receive more, it would truly mean so much and will help him build stability as he starts again.
