Hey there, my name is Kalden. I’m 19 years old, born and raised in Scotland, and this fundraiser supports three interconnected paths of service, creativity, and learning.
1) Work in Ecuador
The first part of this fundraiser supports my time working with the Aya Pacha Foundation in Ecuador. This will involve hands-on charity work including renewable agriculture, building projects, participation in ceremonial spaces, and learning directly from indigenous Mayan spiritual traditions.
This will be a two-month journey focused on service, cultural respect, and integration — experiences that will directly inform the creative and educational work I’m developing.
Estimated cost: ~£1300
2) Music and creative tools
The second part supports the development of my musical practice. For the past 15 months I’ve dedicated 3–6 hours daily to guitar (classical and acoustic) and keyboard. My long-term intention is to create albums and to hold musical space in ceremonial and reflective settings — something my time in Ecuador directly contributes toward.
Funds will go toward repairs, strings, and small equipment upgrades over the next 6–12 months.
Estimated cost: ~£300
3) Writing and research
The final part supports time to write a three-part book series titled ‘Self is the Colour of Creation’. The series explores identity, coherence, and liberation — beginning with a clear structural model, then applying it to lived human experience, and finally connecting it to symbolic interpretations found across cultures and belief systems.
This support allows me to live simply while completing the writing.
Estimated cost: ~£400 (around £100/month while writing)
At its heart, this fundraiser supports my deepest wish: to offer awareness, care, and creativity back into the world through service, music, and writing and to do so with sincerity, humility, and love.
For anyone curious to hear me speak directly, I’ve also shared a relaxed podcast conversation with a close friend where we talk about Ecuador, music, love vs fear, and reflections on modern life. This is the first part of a wider conversation that will continue over time.
Thank you to anyone who takes the time to read this and to anyone who feels moved to support or share. ❤️
