My name is Rodrigo Cano Márquez, and I am from Mexico City, Mexico. I am reaching out to support my friends in Gaza: Amir, a fifteen-year-old boy, his father, who is paralyzed from a war injury, his mother, and his younger siblings. They are facing unimaginable danger every day, and my goal is to help them survive the ongoing violence. The funds raised through this campaign will go directly to essential survival needs—food, clean water, medicine, and anything necessary to stay alive, and, if possible, to assist them in escaping the genocide that surrounds them.

In Gaza, where homes lie scattered among the rubble and evenings are thick with smoke, lives Amir. Despite his youth, he has become the sole provider for his family. Every day, Amir ventures into danger to find water, food, anything to sustain his family. He returns covered in dust, hiding his fear behind a small, brave smile, so his mother’s heart is not broken. At night, as the bombings intensify, he sits with his siblings, telling them of a tomorrow free from destruction, of a home filled once again with laughter. His trembling voice becomes their shield against despair.

Amir’s life is a testament to resilience and resistance—a refusal to let violence and oppression dictate his family’s fate. They live each day with courage, hope, and the enduring human spirit that refuses to be broken.

We cannot stand by while innocence suffers. In the face of brutality, compassion is revolutionary. In the face of oppression, solidarity is an act of defiance.

والده مُقعد بسبب إصابة في الحرب، وأمه ترعى إخوته الصغار. لذلك حمل أمير على كتفيه مسؤولية أكبر من عمره، يخرج يومياً وسط الخطر ليبحث عن ماء أو لقمة تسد جوع أسرته. كل يوم يعود مثقلاً بالغبار، لكنه يخفي خوفه بابتسامة صغيرة حتى لا ينهار قلب أمه.

في الليل، حين يشتد القصف، يجلس قرب إخوته، يحكي لهم عن غدٍ بلا دمار، وعن بيت سيعود عامراً بالضحكات. صوته المرتجف يصبح الأمل الوحيد الذي يُبقيهم على قيد الصبر.

اليوم، أمير وعائلته بحاجة إلى من يمد لهم يد العون، فوسط هذا الخراب لم يبقَ لهم إلا القلوب الرحيمة.
