My name is Sulaiman, founder of Green Rock, a community-based initiative in Gaza.
After the massive destruction of homes, the temporary shelter crisis has become one of the most urgent humanitarian and environmental challenges.
Tents are unsafe and undignified, while conventional cement-based construction is expensive, slow, and environmentally harmful.
At Green Rock, we are working on a practical alternative:
developing a locally produced construction brick made from rubble, with zero cement.
Our goal is to create a solution that is:
Locally manufacturable
Environmentally responsible
Suitable for temporary shelters
Rapidly deployable
We have reached an advanced experimental stage.
However, for this brick to be safe, reliable, and officially approved, we must:
Produce additional samples
Conduct certified laboratory testing (strength, durability, insulation, safety)
Complete the research and development phase to a professional standard
Funds raised through this campaign will be used directly for:
Raw materials
Sample production
Laboratory testing and research costs
Your donation does not fund commercial construction.
It supports the completion of an applied research project
with the potential to offer a sustainable shelter solution for thousands of displaced families.
Green Rock is not a theoretical idea.
It is a serious effort to turn rubble into shelter,
and research into real-world solutions.
Thank you for your support
and for being part of this journey toward dignity and sustainability.
