Hello,

My name is Mohammad Haboush. I am twenty-five years old. I used to live with my family of six in our beautiful home in northern Gaza. About a year ago, the devastating war on Gaza began, completely changing our lives. A week after the war started, our area was subjected to intense bombing. That day, we experienced an incredibly difficult night and narrowly escaped death. Unfortunately, due to the severe bombing, our home was partially destroyed, and we decided to leave it. We were displaced to another place, leaving behind everything we owned.

Before the war, I was a passionate teacher, always striving to improve myself and my students. However, since the war began, education in Gaza has come to a complete halt, forcing me to stop working and losing my source of income. My grand dreams have now been reduced to simple hopes of securing food, drinking water, and safety for myself and my family. My father also lost his job after the supermarket where he worked was destroyed, leaving him unemployed as well.

Since the beginning of the war, we have been displaced six times, moving from one place to another in search of safety, which is nearly nonexistent in Gaza. Sadly, my family and I now live in a small tent that neither protects us from the heat of summer nor the cold of winter. Living conditions are extremely difficult, as stray fragments of rockets can easily enter the tent, causing severe harm or even death.

Several months ago, Gaza suffered from a lack of food and safe drinking water due to the siege and the closure of all crossings. Although some supplies are now available, they are very limited and come at exorbitant prices due to the restrictions on goods entering Gaza. The cost of food, water, medicine, and other basic necessities has become unimaginably high compared to what it was before the war.

Finally, I hope you can help us continue living in Gaza and provide us with the basic necessities of life, including a safe and suitable shelter for me and my family.

With your support and help I can rebuild my home and start my life again starting with basic supplies including blankets,tents, food , and water, etc .

اسمي محمد حبوش، عمري خمسٌ وعشرون عاماً، كنت أعيش مع عائلتي المكونة من ست أفراد في بيتِنا الجميل في شمال غزة، منذ عامٍ تقريباً بدأت الحرب الطاحِنة على غزة فغيَّرت حياتنا بشكلٍ كامل، بعد أسبوعٍ من بدايةِ الحرب تعرضَت منطقتُنا لقصفٍ عنيف عشنا يومَها ليلة صعبة جداً ونجونا من الموتِ بأعجوبة، للأسف بسبب ذلك القصف العنيف تدمَّر بيتنا جزئياً فقررنا مغادرة البيت ونزحنا إلى مكانٍ آخر تاركينَ كلَّ ما نملك في ذلكَ البيت.

قبلَ الحرب كنت معلماً شغوفاً أسعى دائماً لتطوير نفسي وطلابي، لكن منذ بداية الحرب توقف التعليم في غزة بشكل كامل فتوقف عملي وفقدت مصدر دخلي، وتحولت أحلامي الكبيرة إلى أحلام بسيطة تقتصر في توفير الطعام ومياه الشرب والأمان لي ولعائلتي، والِدي أيضاً فقدَ عملَه بعدَ تدمير السوبرماركت الذي كان يعمل فيه فأصبح أيضاً بلا عمل.

منذُ بدايةِ الحرب وحتى الآن نزحنا ست مرات من مكان إلى آخر بحثاً عن الأمان الذي يكاد معدوماً في غزة، للأسف الآن أعيش أنا وعائلتي في خيمة صغيرة لا تقينا حرَ الصيف ولا بردَ الشتاء وظروف العيش فيها صعبة جداً، فمن الممكن بسهولة أن تدخل عليها أجزاء الصواريخ المتَطايِرَة فتصيبنا بأذىً كبير أو تتسبب في موتنا.

قبلَ عدة شهور عانينا في غزة من عدم توفر الطعام والمياه الصالحة للشرب بسبب الحصار وإغلاق جميع المعابر. ولكن الآن توفر جزء يسير منها ولكن بأسعار مرتفعة لقلة الأصناف المسموح لها بدخول غزة، فالطعام والمياه والدواء وأهم مقومات الحياة أصبح سعرها خيالياً بالمقارنة عما كانت عليه قبل الحرب.

أخيراً، أتمنى منكم مساعدتنا من أجلِ الإستمرار في الحياة في غزة والحصول على أدنى مقومات الحياة وتوفير مأوىً آمن ومناسب للعيش فيه لي ولعائلتي.
