It's crazy how much life can change in such little time, having a set plan to having to re-figure everything out.

Earlier this year our 12+ cat started to sound like he was congested so we took him to our vet and got told to go to the specialty vet. He then got diagnosed with a nasal tumor, the surgery would be risky seeming cats normal don't breath out their mouth. So we decided we are going to let him live his best life out with us as he is. (Our vet plus specialty cancer vet about $643)

So we went ahead and started the plans for our new roof 'cause our home insurance needed it to get done, after a handful of roof quotes and inspections we settled on a company. ($4,455.75)

Now at the beginning of Aug we were set and ready for the work to start on our roof. The day before they started on the roof my spouse ended up at the hospital.. we thought it was a flu or covid.. we went to an emergency room and they ran some tests. It turned out to be a mass in her. So they transferred her to another hospital they found out the mass was blocking about 80% of her pathway around her esophagus . Seeming she couldn't eat or drink anything our quick ER visit turned into 4 days at the hospital. 2 esophageal biopsy's later they then decided they needed a more internal biopsy. We were let out because she was able to keep food and liquids down, and she had her surgery set for another day. They went through her ribs and grabbed a chunk of the mass, and diagnosed her with cancer. She was let out that night and we went home. A few days of bed rest and she was able to go back to work.

Our cancer kitty in this time decided to give himself boxers ear. So I rush off to the emergency vet they clean, flush it, and give me some meds ($472.26)

We also got the bill for the roof and waiting for our loan to go through. With how much water damaged wood they had to replace from the previous owners we still will owe about ($5,200) We make plans for extra hours and such at work and what ever we had left in savings.

Now at the end of Sept my spouse is slowly not able to keep anything down again. She also has pain from where they put the nerve blocker for her surgery. They also let us know- it actually isn't cancer. But possibly a ultra rare inflammation disease they just don't know from where specificly. So we will be meeting with a new dr in a few weeks.

In this week after we took the cat to the emergancy vet medicine didn't do much, so we took him to our vet. He let us know because of his nasal tumor it would be risky with the surgery to fix his ear. So he drained it for us and put a medicine on it (190.28)

My spose started running a fever the night before as well so we go to the hospital after the cats appointment, they do a CT scan and realize the mass has gotten bigger. We are in the hospital again waiting on some more labs to be done, but since our arrivel they have found enough fluid around her heart to fill a can of Pepsi completely, she will now be on a drip to get it out in the icu.

We have been trying our best to get back on our feet and try to get a normal life, but its been a hard deal with no breaks. With all the normal bills of owning a house (Mortgage, water, electricity) I'm out of extra pay hours at work to be by her side. Our family's have been trying to help as much as they can, but even they are spread thin as well with everything in life.

We are just asking for some help with everything going on, so we don't default or lose anything we've been working so hard to accomplish. We are not sure how much her medical bills will add up to be but we want to make sure our house is still good while we work on the health aspect. We are grateful for anything you are able to donate, especially in all these hard times.
