Hey everyone, I want to share something deeply personal with you. Back in 2018, my life was hit hard in a way I never saw coming. I was told I might never walk again. At the same time, my health was rapidly declining due to severe obesity, and I found myself in one of the lowest places I’ve ever been. But through God’s grace, discipline, and a refusal to give up, things began to change. Step by step… Obstacle by obstacle… I fought my way back. Since then, I’ve lost over 250 pounds. I regained the ability to walk. And not only that—I can now swim, train, and live a life I once thought was no longer possible. Even more meaningful than all of that… I’ve been given the opportunity to serve again. Every day at the YMCA, I get to pour into others, encourage them, and be a small part of their journey—just like so many people were part of mine. This August, I’ll be traveling to Scotland to take on a swim that represents so much more than just a physical challenge. This is not a vacation. This is a testimony. A testimony of faith. Of endurance. Of discipline. Of the people who stood beside me when I couldn’t stand on my own. I’m inviting you to be part of this journey with me. There are expenses that come with this opportunity—travel, lodging, and event costs—and if you feel led to support me financially, I would be incredibly grateful. If not, your encouragement, prayers, and sharing this journey mean just as much. More than anything, I hope my story reminds someone that where you are today does not have to define where you end up. Thank you for being part of my journey.
