Story:

My name is Courtney, and I’ve been fighting a heartbreaking battle for over four years — a battle to survive, to heal, and most importantly, to be reunited with my child.

In 2021, during a devastating divorce, I lost custody of my child. Since then, I’ve lost nearly everything: my home, my car, my stability — and at times, my will to keep going. I’ve endured trauma that has left deep emotional wounds. I’ve cried in silence, carried pain behind closed doors, and pushed forward when I felt like I had nothing left.

But I’m finally seeing a small window of hope.

On September 22nd, I have a chance to appear in court and fight to get my child back. This opportunity is everything to me — a moment I’ve waited for through years of tears and brokenness.

However, I urgently need to raise $5,000 to retain the attorney who will help make this happen. The full amount is due by September 5th, and despite working hard, there’s no way I can come up with that on my own in time.

I’ve never liked asking for help, but I’ve been pushed to the edge for too long. I am doing everything I can — emotionally, mentally, and financially — but I need support.
