Hi everyone,
My name is Vince, and I’m reaching out for help during a challenging time. I’m coming up on 18 months of sobriety, something I’m deeply proud of and grateful for. Recovery has given me a new start in life, and I’ve worked hard to build a foundation focused on purpose, growth, and service.
Part of that journey has been going back to school to pursue a degree in Psychology, with hopes of one day helping others who are walking the same path I’ve been on. I’ve worked hard to maintain straight A’s with honors this semester, and I’m truly committed to my education and recovery.
Unfortunately, my car’s transmission needs to be replaced, and the repair cost is over $5,000. My vehicle isn’t just transportation—it’s an essential part of how I stay connected and useful in the recovery community. I regularly give rides to meetings and others who need support -and without my car, that becomes much harder.
My family is helping as much as they can, and I’m also using a large part of my savings—money I’ve set aside for emergencies and to get me through this semester. But even with that, I’ve come up short.
I’m humbly asking for support to help cover the cost of the transmission replacement so I can stay on track with school, continue to give back to others in recovery, and keep moving forward in this new chapter of my life.
Any amount helps more than you know, and if you’re not able to contribute financially, even sharing this page means the world to me.
Any funds raised will go directly toward replacing the transmission, and if anything extra comes in, it will still go toward car-related costs only.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for believing in second chances.
With gratitude,
Vince
