From Rescue to Recovery: Help Gigi Heal

Hi friends!

This past Valentine’s Day, we welcomed a sweet soul named Gigi into our lives. We rescued her from Angels Among Us in Atlanta, Georgia, after she was found in a challenging situation—a hoarding case with over 70 dogs. Thankfully, Angels Among Us came to the rescue, and a few weeks later, Gigi found her forever home with us.

Not long after joining our family, though, we noticed something was wrong. Around three months old, Gigi suddenly stopped using her hind leg. At first, we thought it might be a simple cut on her paw, but when she continued limping for over a week, we knew we needed answers.

After visiting a specialist, we received some tough news: Gigi has severe, chronic degenerative changes in her left hip joint, along with an acetabular fracture. The recommendation was immediate surgery to relieve her pain and improve her mobility, but the procedure comes with a steep cost—around $7,000.

This is where we’re hoping for a little help. Every donation, big or small, will go 100% toward covering her surgery and vet bills, bringing her one step closer to a happy, pain-free life.
