Hi, my name is Corbin Skaggs, and I am a senior at Watkins Memorial High School. I am excited to share that I have been selected to participate in the prestigious Macy’s Great American Marching Band, which will perform during the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on November 28th, 2024.

This opportunity is a significant honor for me, as I was chosen from a competitive pool of talented musicians nationwide. Participating in this renowned event is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

My musical journey began six years ago at Watkins Middle School, where I initially played the trumpet. Midway through my 7th-grade year, I transitioned to the tuba, and it has since become an integral part of my life. Playing the tuba brings me immense joy and a sense of accomplishment. My band activities, whether in class, on the marching field, or in the stands, are the highlights of my day.

I am eagerly looking forward to representing my school and community in New York this November. To make this dream a reality, I need to raise funds to cover the associated costs. Your support would be greatly appreciated.
