Van is more than just a familiar face in North Beach — he’s family to so many of us. A proud U.S. veteran and a true pillar of our community, Van has spent years showing up for others with kindness, generosity, and a heart bigger than the neighborhood itself.

Recently, Van suffered a serious medical emergency and is now facing a long road to recovery. As someone who has always given selflessly, it’s our turn to show up for him. Every contribution — big or small — will go directly toward his medical expenses, recovery, and ensuring he has the support he needs to heal and get back on his feet.
