• The Graduate Nurse Student Organization (GNSO) is dedicated to fostering leadership, compassion, and community engagement among future nurse practitioners. As part of  the Graduate Nurses at St Joseph’s University of Patchogue, our ongoing commitment to service, we are launching a fundraising initiative to support both local and global causes. Through our GoFundMe campaign, we aim to raise $2,000 to help Halle Esmeralda , a young girl in Nicaragua, purchase essential school supplies and continue her education through the Hope for the Children Foundation. In addition, we are collecting nonperishable food items for local church food pantries to assist families in need within our community.
  

By combining our efforts, we hope to make a meaningful impact—empowering education abroad and fighting hunger at home. Together, we can show that nursing extends beyond clinical care—it’s about caring for humanity in every way possible.
