Our names are Kamilah, Gilberto and Eugene and we are a group of 2 Mexican students and one Taiwanese student — all children of immigrant parents who came to this country searching for opportunity.

We are wishing to attend this program at University of California, Berkeley connected to initiatives of the United Nations, where young leaders work on solutions to global challenges.

For us, this opportunity represents something much bigger than attending a program. It means bringing the voices, stories, and resilience of immigrant communities into spaces where they are often underrepresented.

With your support, we will be able to attend this program, learn from global leaders, and return with the tools to make our communities stronger and our voices heard on a larger stage.
